Hello! :WARNING: Unless you read the History.txt file, you should know v1.6 is a development version and as such not necessarily compatible with the previous 1.5 official version. ... And by misfortune it is not due to the way files are delivered to the cipher code (twisted). So: You should avoid using it if you need compatibility with previous versions. (Future 1.7 will deal with both for your convenience) :Rule: This version MUST substitute previous 1.6 version BUT must NOT be used to decrypt any file made with official versions :What to do: The program you used to encrypt... use it to decrypt. Any file processed with v1.5 -> Keep using 1.5 Any file processed with v1.6(A to F) -> Decrypt it with this 1.6G... Check it... and then Re-Encrypt it again. :Why: Sorry the inconvenient but it's needed due to a B/L-Endian glitch (Nothing to do with the crypto unit but apparently it has to do with the way files are read/written to the buffer making this a new variant). :Note: This sub-version 'G' now states a cipher version '16' so you may use future versions with 1.5 and 1.6 generated files. Previous 1.6 processed files 'look' like being processed by the different 1.5 (may create problems). See the What-To-Do section. :END-WARNING Now back to the subject: This is now able for DOS/W9x and for LINUX/FreeBSD. Unix users will need to compile code with Free-Pascal-Compiler. Win95 users can use it through the "MS-DOS Prompt" or 4DOS. You will find 4 executables for DOS/W9x: BLW-CBC : for ALL x86 CPUs BLW-386 : for CPUs from the 386 up to the new 786 (Athlons) CWSDPMI : Needed to use BLW-386 under old plain DOS BLWCBC15: Last Official version (See warning at top> Please note that SWSDPMI is not needed under Win9x ... it has it!
